Playing Lean is a specialized game out of Norway that, in just 90 minutes, can teach you how to avoid the common pitfalls and mistakes of starting a company or launching a new product without draining your bank account, bruising your ego, or ruining your reputation.

Using the game ecosystem builders and startup mentors Brandy Old and Craig Elias show entrepreneurs, mentors, educators, students, ecosystem builders, and economic developers how to:

  • Learn and practice lean startup skills
  • Feel the highs and lows of entrepreneurship
  • Discover how to improve a startup’s odds of success
  • Uncover the truth about commonly-held startup myths
  • Understand and develop the mindset of an entrepreneur
  • Experience the challenges and trade-offs of starting a company

Playing the game is an amazing way to learn how to start a successful company or launch a successful product that is educational, competitive, and so addictive you’ll want to play the game again and again.

Playing Lean is an entrepreneurship learning tool developed by Bruno Pešec in collaboration with the creator of the Lean Canvas – Ash Maurya – and the author of Testing Business Ideas – Alexander Osterwalder.

As part of our commitment to make playing the game as close to real life as possible, Brandy became North America’s first and only trained facilitator, and Craig flew to London, England, to meet the game’s creator in a coffee shop and learn all his facilitation tips, tricks, and tactics.

We have run over 30 gameplay sessions for groups as small as six and as large as 70 for people from the age of 15 to 60 in Brampton, Calgary, Charlottetown, Edmonton, High Level, Lethbridge, Moncton, Okotoks, Regina, Saskatoon, and Saint John, NB.

Call or text Brandy Old (+1.825.594.4940) or Craig Elias (+1.403.874.2998) if you want to learn how a gameplay session for your company, community, incubator, or accelerator can help aspiring and early-stage founders demystify and simplify how to build a solution to a problem that people will pay for.
